The story of Noah's Ark is one of the most famous stories people affiliate with the bible. It includes a family, all the animals in the world, a HUGE ark and an enormous flood! It might be hard to explain the size of the ark, but try to imagine some of the biggest animals (for example elephants, rhinos, gorillas, bears, buffalo) in pairs... they definitely needed a whole lot of room!
Some people think it took Noah around 100 years to actually build the ark, and that he was 600 years old during the flood! After Noah's dove came back with an olive leaf he knew that the waters had gone down. When the land was dry and Noah and all the animals left the Ark, God placed a rainbow in the clouds, a sign of the covenant that was between God, Noah and all living creatures.
