Bowling Party Theme Twist

by Silvia M.
(Newnan, GA)

My son had a hard time choosing between a bowling party and a superhero party. After thinking hard, I thought - why can't he have a Bowling SuperHero Party!! He loved this idea :-).

So actually it made things very easy, we had the party at a bowling alley and we decorated with superhero decorations. The kids loved this, many of them came in superhero costumes (with a superhero cloak), and when they took the bowling ball - they 'flew' off and threw the bowling ball superhero-style.

When the kids just arrived, I also gave out superhero things to wear (cloak - whoever didn't come with one, a small zorro mask for the eyes, etc.). The bowling alley was pretty packed, so it helped recognize who's from our party when the kids started wandering off :-D.

In any case, you can take the bowling theme and put a twist to it... add another theme to it. It works out great!!

Bowling Party Invitation Wording Idea

by Bernadette V.
(Charlotte, NC)

A bit similar to what this site offers, but still a bit different... here is what I wrote on my son's bowling party invitations:

"Hope you can SPARE the time to STRIKE up some fun at Paul's 9th Birthday!" The Date, Time, and Location were underneath.... Then I added "There will be a sleepover before you SPLIT! Don't STRIKE OUT, RSVP today!"

Have fun!
