For my daughter's first birthday party invitations, I cut out the number "1" from pink construction paper (I cut a few out at the same time). I wrote my daughter's name "Chelsey" on the front of the number 1, and all of the party info on the back of the number 1. They were simple and cute!

I took two pieces of poster board, taped them together in the back and on the front stenciled 'Emmeelin's first bithday' and on the inside top everyone who came... and had everyone sign or write a note to her. Then had it laminated (: huge hit!

I have twin girls about to celebrate their birthday in November, and I haven't seen anything appropriate for a twin theme party.
So my suggestion is a "twincess" party theme especially for my princesses first birthday!
Looking forward in anticipation to a lot of feedback,
Thanks, Arlene.

Lots of first birthday parties have breastfeeding moms attending the party (we had 3 breastfeeding moms come to our son's first birthday party). Before the party, we designated a quiet and private room so that the moms felt comfortable to go and breastfeed there. They were extremely thankful for the thoughtfulness of keeping their privacy!
