Dibble Dabble Pool Game

Go inside and ask your parents for a clear water bottle cap. Then grab a couple of your friends to play. What you do is one person jumps in the pool and hides the bottle cap all the way at the bottom of the pool he/she then gets out of the pool quickly. The bottle cap will eventually rise to the surface of the pool. The first person to jump in, catch the bottle cap before it rises to the surface, and then say "Dibble Dabble" is the winner.

Dibble with golf tee (better)

Dibble is a swimming pool game. It is played with a light blue golf tee, or a clear water bottle cap. A person brings the dibble to the bottom of the deep end of the pool in order to 'hide' the dibble. That person gets out and, with the other people, stands around the pool looking for the dibble to appear. The object of the game is to get the dibble before anyone else, and in doing so, call out "Dibble!". You may play with children as young as 8 as long as they can swim well. However, the game may get enjoyably competitive between older kids. The person hiding the dibble may not go into the pool to retrieve the dibble until another player jumps into the pool, and you must be in the water or in midair to grab the dibble (you may not be standing on the side). You can play as long as you wish, or to a score of any number (five is a good number).
