Did you know?
- The longest dinosaur was Seismosaurus, which measured over 132 feet long (as long as five double-decker buses!).
- The first dinosaur to be named was Megalosaurus, it was 29.5 feet long and almost ten feet tall! (the definition for "Megalosaurus" is "great lizard).
- The dinosaur that has the longest name is Micropachycephalosaurus which means "tiny thick-headed lizard". Its fossils were found in China and it was named in 1978 by a Chinese palaeontologist.
