Did you know?
- Sons who were born to a noble family would often be chosen to become knights. At age seven (!!) they were sent to live in a house with a lord or uncle and that's where they start their knighthood training.
- Before becoming a Knight, a man would need to train seven years to become a Page, and another seven years to become a Squire, only then will be officially a Knight.
- Part of the responsibilities of a Squire included taking care of the knight's horse, serving the knight food, helping the knight get dressed, and cleaning and polishing the knight's coat of armor and weapons.
