Kamaree, the birthday Princess, was really excited about the Fairy from the Unicorn Meadow coming to her party. Some of the children dressed up in princess and fairy costumes in anticipation.
The outdoor unicorn moonwalk party was canceled because of inclement weather. We decorated in-doors with an all-inclusive unicorn themed party package order from a discount internet website - overnight! The package was a one stop shop which included unicorn theme balloons, cake topper, and even the helium - WOW.
The mini unicorns and giant lollipops used for the table set-up was a BIG hit! A fairy character entertained the children the first half of the party. She told unicorn tales, created magic balloons, and face-paint. Before leaving the Fairy sung "happy birthday" to the birthday princess and gave Kamaree a personalized book about her and the unicorn. She disappeared during cake cutting - HA (planned but the children never saw it coming).
The children ate cake, snacks and juice. Kamaree was excited about the unicorn cake topper which she received during cake cutting. Afterwords, we brought out the Pinata. We explained to the children about the goodies inside the Pinata. The excitement could not be contained especially when additional goodies were given during their exit.
The birthday Princess reluctantly presented unicorn theme favor boxes. The outside of the box included a personalized thank you sticker created at Kinko's. The boxes included mini unicorns, candy, crayons, mini pads, and unicorn tattoos - all items included in party package from discount internet website - EFFORTLESS!
The birthday princess enjoyed her party and is excited about the return of the "Unicorn Fairy" (as she so fondly calls her) next year.
